Dresden Sampler Sew Along Week 5

We’re getting closer to the completion of our Sew Along! I’ve really enjoyed making mini and tiny dresden blocks but I might be ready to start another sew along with different sized dresdens, and different shapes too!

Dresden Sampler Sew Along Week 5

I am honestly having so much fun with this sew along. Creating all of the dainty dresden blocks is just so stinkin’ cute! We’re getting close to the end (I can’t believe that!), so I’m on the search for another quilt to make that highlights dresdens.

I’m thinking I might want to make a Sampler Dresden on low volume backgrounds using my stash. I envision 12″ blocks with assorted styles of dresden plates. I’m designing something in EQ8. I’ll share on IG to gauge interest in another sew along but 2019 might turn into the year of the Dresden Plate for me (ha).

Dresden Puzzle and Friendship Garden

This week’s work includes just two different blocks: The Dresden Puzzle and the Friendship Garden. We make 2 of the Puzzle blocks and 3 of the Garden blocks. Again, too cute, don’t you think??
