Have you been following along as I jumped into the world of podcasts?
It’s been quite the journey for this gal, let me tell you! Reaching out to strangers and asking them to trust me with their stories has been humbling to say the least! Hearing how God has worked in their lives has been inspiring, again, to say the least!
Did you listen to mother-daughter duo, Kim and Kalee Sorey? How they felt the call to leave teaching behind to jump into the world of fitness, building a community of friends along the way.
Julie shared her journey as mother to 9, homeschool teacher, farmer and new blogger with a heart to guide young women on their journey.
Melody shared how she felt God’s urges to leave her job of 20 years, the only job she’d ever known, to start her own traveling sewing lessons gig!
Elise shared how a medical emergency led to a Pinterest search which led to the world of crochet. Yep, that’s how God works!
This week’s guest is Marsha, who was once a woman focused on diets and body image. Today, God has given her the freedom to live Fit and Free!
This is me, your host. God laid on my heart the desire to share the stories of women who are pursuing their passions in a Chick-fil-A kinda way. You know, Chick-fil-A sells chicken BUT they are a Christian establishment that happens to sell dang-good chicken. That’s what these women do too. They blog. They create. They sell their products. They’re Christian women who happen to blog, create and sell.
I’m not comfortable putting myself out there. But when God asks you to do something, you do it, right? My goal with each and every episode is to have the glory of our stories shine back on God. He gives each of us talents and blessings. We’re called to use those talents to bless others. That includes financially helping our own families. Too often, we feel guilty about asking for monetary gain. It’s a fine line, walking the road of seeking riches while not focusing on money as our goal. Using God-given talents to bless our families is not sinful!
So, is there anyone you’d like to hear on the podcast? Someone passionately pursuing their dreams? Leave me a comment; I’d love to hear from you!
