2019 Pantone Color of the Year ~ Living Coral
“Color is an equalizing lens through which we experience our natural and digital realities and this is particularity true for Living Coral. With consumers craving human interaction and social connection, the humanizing and heartening qualities displayed by the convivial PANTONE Living Coral hit a responsive chord.” ~ Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute
I think it’ll be fun to see what vibrant accents creep into designs this year, from throw rugs and lamps to jewelry and fashion. Will designers follow the lead and start designing using the color? Do you love it? Is it a color you’d create with? Personally, I have loved coral since I was a small child. I loved peach and coral. My mom was always having to look for tops in coral to make me happy.
What do you think? Would you like a quilt made out of the color scheme offered above? I surely would. In fact, I believe Art Gallery Fabrics have a bundle or two that might be calling my name…
